Be a man; do the right thing

As you may or may not be aware, I went to Men's Katoomba Convention over the last weekend. Being previously in the Youth Convention group, it was my first time. I will post photos when I get around to sorting them.

There appears to be a number of blogs which already discussed the Convention in detail, so I will try to be brief.

A couple of main points:

  • The main point for me is that the Sermon on the Mount is serious. Jesus expects his followers to follow them. That is because of who we already are---the blessed people of God
  • It is important to recognise the role of the male in a relationship (particularly in a marriage relationship), and really not shirk from "being a man".

UPDATE 12 March 2006: Photos are up.
