Propitiatory trading?
Seen in the Australian Financial Review today, regarding a restructure of the trading and treasury operations at the Commonwealth Bank.
I can assure you that the Bank’s trading book does not satisfy God’s wrath against sin. Only Jesus’ death is propitiatory (Romans 3:21-26).
(By the way, I think the newspaper meant “proprietary”.)
