Word of the Day

Spurgeonic adj. Of or belonging to Charles Spurgeon.

Also of interest is how biblical characters get their adjectives. Old Teastment characters tend to have their adjectives ending in -ic (e.g. Abrahamic, Mosaic), whereas New Testament characters have their adjectives ending either in -an (e.g. Matthean, Lucan) or -ine (e.g. Petrine, Pauline).
