Reminder: Christianity takes its name from Jesus Christ
Just in case you were not aware, the Judicial Commission of NSW recently released a new guide book for judges, as reported by the Sydney Morning Herald. The book acts as a guide for judges in their dealings with various types of people who may present themselves to them.
The article noted that the guide provides a 16-page potted summary of the five major religions, which includes the fact that Christianity takes its name from Jesus Christ, who is believed to be the son of God.
Such a reminder of the origins of Christianity is always helpful.
