One of the bizarre things with an actuarial exam is that you do not have much time to do mildly meaningful things such as publishing methodological nonsense on this site. Given that it has now been some time since anything nonsensical has gone up, here goes…
One of the more interesting things I found is a number of blogs of people I know. It really shows their character when you are not directly with them. People seem to be more comfortable on airing their thoughts “anonymously”, into the ether, even though they know full well that chances are many of the blogs’ readers are known by the bloggers themselves (example).
One can easily see that the person behind this blog is a very reflective person (other than the fact that she blogs much more regularly than I do). On the other hand this one has much different characteristics.
On an unrelated matter, the church web site has been launched, at everyone’s amazement.
